दिन-दोपहरी सफ़दरजंग के मक़बरे पर

एक क़ब्र की गवाही
लगावट ताख़ की
ख़ामोशी आवाज़ की… कुछ गर्माहट स्पर्श की
निशाँ माज़ी के
रोशनी आफ़ताब की किनारा भर
मिलने के लिए चुराया गया
एक टुकड़ा शाम का ज़िंदगी की बज़्म से
फ़ज़ा में ख़ुशबू लोबान की
सोहबत दरीचे के पेड़ की
मैं चाहता हूँ दिल्ली!
